It's a character from "Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance". I'm insanely proud of this work, because it was the most complex, longest, and most detailed work I've ever done. I made this painting as a birthday present for someone dear to me, at the moment it stands on his window sill and pleases him.
About a year ago, I started creating various digital illustrations. The entire process takes place on my phone, using various apps. Of course, it's much more challenging than using a graphics tablet, but it's possible! I use a straw with foil as a stylus, like this! Drawing under these conditions motivates me to get a graphics tablet as soon as possible, especially since I'm actively developing my skills in various Photoshop techniques, including portrait retouching, where a graphics tablet is essential
I'm primarily a portrait artist. Nothing is as compelling as a portrait of a person. I mostly paint in watercolor and after many years I have developed my own painting style. I prefer realism, but instead of real colors, I like to look at other colors and exaggerate them, making them brighter, more colorful. And then adding splashes and other painterly or decorative elements.
I drew illustrations and a cover for a book that is about to come out!
I like to draw various fantasy characters, especially unusual costumes. And most of all I love humanization! It's a technique when you turn any thing, any creature into a human being. For some concepts, I make costumes and translate them into photographs, like Isolde and Valentine.
A collection of jewelry pieces for the school project. The project began with conceptual development and thematic assignment. These pieces were painted with watercolor and gouache
Characters from games and anime are represented here and many are drawn as I see them
Here are various drawings from painting and graphic art that remain from my education at the art school
I like to customize things with acrylics or paint them on wood. Because of its properties, it stays saturated, doesn't turn muddy unlike watercolor with many layers, and you get amazing gradients.
It's my thesis. It was hard for me to do it morally, as I had no strength to draw and finish my studies. Honestly speaking, art school completely took away my desire to continue drawing in general and move in this direction. Because of this, I chose the wrong profession for which I studied for 3 years, and I regretted it very much. Now, after a long break, my love for painting has returned, and I am painting again.
